Brock Lesnar Renews WWE Contract

LET’S END THE MADNESS OF MARCH WITH 16 GERMAN SUPLEX!!  This is your man Remy over here, and I do believe I have some exciting news to share with sports entertainment fans around the world!

In an interview on ESPN’s SportsCenter, WWE Superstar and MMA Fighter (or should I say Former MMA Fighter) Brock Lesnar, stated that after a year of much consideration on both sides (Competitive Fighter & Father/Husband), he’s decided to hang up his life in the octagon for good and return to the WWE.

Brock Lesnar during his Sports Center Interview

“…It weighed heavily on my heart that I was born to be an entertainer, and I have fun doing it.  I could go back to the Octagon, but what am I going to gain; I was the UFC Heavyweight Champion of the World.  Due to my illness, my career got cut short, and that’s God telling you that it’s time to move on.  …I’m officially closing the door on MMA.” – Lesnar states.

Now that “the Beast Incarnate” has returned, what effect could this have on the future of WWE? This could potentially green light another PPV match of him against the Rock.

Recently, Lesnar’s manager, Paul Heyman has frequently brought up his client’s victory over the Rock at SummerSlam 2002. Despite Dwayne Johnson’s character being far superior in popularity in the Attitude Era, his defeat against Brock was reasonable from a realistic perspective in terms of physical stats between both athletes.  Brock was at least twice The Rock’s size back then, however, now in 2015, it’s a different story. The Rock has built his body to the level of a metaphorical tank, and the way Monday Night RAW’s plot is currently progressing-Brock’s fictional rivalry with Johnson’s actual cousin, Roman Reigns (real name Leati Anoa’i), another match between The Rock & Brock Lesnar as the main even of SummerSlam 2015 or wouldn’t be far-fetched at all.

A very cool wallpaper artwork I found, done by sebaz316 on Deviantart, suggesting Brock Lesnar VS. The Rock main-eventing Wrestlemania 31.

I’m getting a bit off topic, but this is just an example, one idea that could be highly possible now that Brock Lesnar has returned to the WWE.
