After various behind the scenes images of Nathan Drake (portrayed by Spider Man‘s Tom Holland) and Victor “Sully” Sullivan (portrayed by Academy Nominated actor, Mark Wahlburg), Columbia Pictures and PlayStation Productions releases their teaser for the upcoming Uncharted movie.
The film will also star actress Sophia Ali (MTV’s Faking It) as Chloe Frazer, Tati Gabrielle (Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and You) as Braddock, and Academy Award winning actor Antonio Banderas as the film’s antagonist.
The film’s synopsis is as follows (via Sony Pictures Publicity)
“Based on one of the best-selling and most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted tells the story of Nathan Drake and his first adventure with rival-turned-partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan. Starring Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as quick-witted, wise-cracking Sully, Uncharted will introduce audiences to how Nathan Drake becomes the treasure hunter as he unravels one of history’s greatest mysteries and treasures in an action-adventure epic that spans the globe“
Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima has been making history. With breaking sales records as selling 2.4 million copies the first three days (becoming Playstation 4’s fastest selling game), winning both Best Art Direction and Viewer’s Choice awards in The Game Awards, and having Sucker Punch become the ambassadors for the actual island of Tsushima, the list of achievements is endless.
Ghost of Tsushima is also Teh Lunchbox Publication’s Game of the Year and Best Multiplayer for its Legends add on, earning a perfect 5 out of 5 from us. So what’s next for the series? Hollywood.
It’s been reported that Sucker Punch is taking their beloved title to the big screen, teaming up with Sony Pictures. The director on helm with this project is none other than Chad Stahelski, whose credits include the John Wick movies, need we say more?
For the official announcement, check out Playstation’s post here.
Ghost of Tsushima is Rated M for Mature and available now for the Playstation 4.
Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s World Widestudios for Computer Entertainment Inc., took to the Playstation Blog to update the progress for The Last Guardian. Here’s what Yoshida had to say:
“The Last Guardian development team is fast approaching major milestones in production and has made the tough decision to delay the release of The Last Guardian a few weeks. The Last Guardian will launch on December 6, 2016.“.
With the amount of games coming out between now and December 6, we can all agree to the fact that we will be busy with another title until then.
The Last Guardian hits the Playstation 4 on December 6,2016.
If you are one of many people who are still rocking Sony’s handheld, the Playstation Portable (PSP), mad props and respect to you.
However, it’s probably time for an upgrade.
Sony announced yesterday that on March 31st, it will shut down it’s Playstation Store services for the PSP. Here’s the official press release from Sony’s support website.
“On March 31, 2016, the PlayStation®Store for PlayStation®Portable (PSP®) system in the SCEA region will be closed. PSP system users will be able to purchase PSP content from the web-based PlayStation Store at store.playstation.com, and also access past purchases from the Download list on their PSP system. Users will continue to have the ability to make in-game purchases from their PSP system.
Select PSP games are also available for purchase on the PlayStation®Store for PlayStation®Vita system users.”
Hopefully all PSP titles will be available for the Vita? Only time will tell.
It’s no surprise that some games on the Playstation 3 are being remastered for Playstation 4.
With God of War III: Remastered coming out next month, it’s now safe to say that Nathan Drake will be joining the ranks with Kratos on the PS4 and no, we’re not talking about Uncharted 4.
It was leaked through a Playstation Store listing but was quickly taken down until Naughty Dog themselves announced it officially. Here is the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection.
You get all three titles into one, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, all formatted into one for the Playstation 4. This is a good chance for those who have not played the series before and who want to prepare themselves for Uncharted 4 next year.
We can assure that this announcement was supposed to be for Sony’s E3 Press Conference on Monday, but we’ll see what else they have in store for us.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is stated for release on October 9th, 2015.

It’s not the worst news, but it is a little bit of a downer. Square Enix says that their day one roster for Dissidia Final Fantasy won’t include the full 50 man roster, instead it will start only with 14.
There were rumors of the game starting with a whopping 50 characters to choose from, but that was shot down when Gematsu reported that through a live stream, Square Enix said they will start the game with 14 characters, but will move towards the 50 man roster through updates post-launch.
Dissidia Final Fantasy fans can still rest easy as the game won’t deviate from its Playstation Portable predecessor with seven characters already confirmed, including Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII), Terra Branford (Final Fantasy VI), and of course Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII).
Unfortunately, the game is only a Japan exclusive, Hopefully its growing popularity and fanbase will assist in the game making its way over to North America. While you wait for some good news regarding its expansion (I hope), check out the first trailer below if you haven’t already.
