TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan Officially Leaked

TMNT-Plat-Art-Surface

Well, we were bound to see it sometime. After countless weeks of constant leaks all across the internet, Activision has finally, properly, announced Platinum Games’ newest game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan.

This game will feature the four rad brothers as they journey through the streets of New York City to take on Shredder and the Foot Clan from taking over the city, battling classic foes like Bebop, Rocksteady, and Armaggon along the way. Tom Waltz, writer of the current ongoing TMNT comics, will be writing an original story for the game. While engaging Platinum’s classic fast action style of gameplay, Mutants in Manhattan will also feature a 4-player online co-op mode, although details of the mode were not given out at the moment of this writing.

Update: trailer is now available for viewing. Check it out below

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC this Summer, presumably alongside the upcoming second movie.

Take a Trip Down Memory Lane in Metal Gear Solid’s Final Trailer Before its Release

age_bg_tpp

Hideo Kojima is getting everyone ready for the impending release of the next (and most likely the final) installment in the Metal Gear Solid franchise The Phantom Pain by debuting the final trailer for the upcoming game.

As mentioned in the heading the trailer gives us moments from the earlier entries and seeing the flashback probably brings a lot of emotion to what is already considered the final farewell in the beloved series. But without spoiling anymore, check it out below.

Now it’s no secret that Konami has had a lot of stuff going on this past year with Kojima leaving the company and having to cancel Silent Hills. The new trajectory of the future for Konami with their focus being aimed more towards mobile gaming is hitting some the wrong way, but the company hopes to gain a little of that good-will back with The Phantom Pain. By most early accounts this is one of, if not, the best entry into the franchise. As one of the greatest and most recognizable video games franchises over the course of almost two decades coupled with its commitment to consistent quality, this finale seems extremely fitting to everyone who are fans of the title. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 1, 2015.
