The Mortal Kombat Trailer Is Here!

Yesterday, we were able to share with you all the posters for the upcoming Warner Bros. remake of the ’90s Mortal Kombat movie franchise.

The studio finally released the trailer for the upcoming movie, which you can watch below, but hold on!

The trailer isn’t holding back on the amount of blood, gore, and violence the movie will have. This trailer is NFSW (Not Safe For Work) and after all, the Mortal Kombat series is rated M for Mature for a reason.

Warner Bros. official synopsis:

“MMA fighter Cole Young, accustomed to taking a beating for money, is unaware of his heritage—or why Outworld’s Emperor Shang Tsung has sent his best warrior, Sub-Zero, an otherworldly Cryomancer, to hunt Cole down. Fearing for his family’s safety, Cole goes in search of Sonya Blade at the direction of Jax, a Special Forces Major who bears the same strange dragon marking Cole was born with. Soon, he finds himself at the temple of Lord Raiden, an Elder God and the protector of Earthrealm, who grants sanctuary to those who bear the mark. Here, Cole trains with experienced warriors Liu Kang, Kung Lao and rogue mercenary Kano, as he prepares to stand with Earth’s greatest champions against the enemies of Outworld in a high stakes battle for the universe. But will Cole be pushed hard enough to unlock his arcana—the immense power from within his soul—in time to save not only his family, but to stop Outworld once and for all?”

Mortal Kombat Movie Posters Are Here! Trailer Release Tomorrow!

It’s been almost 24 years since we’ve last seen the fighting game franchise on the big screen. Warner Bros. decided to release its character posters of the upcoming reboot of the mid-90s movie franchise, and they look fantastic!

Warner Bros. also released the official synopsis for the film:

Mortal Kombat X Launch Trailer Released!

With Mortal Kombat X inbound for next week, it’s no surprise that Netherealm Studios release an official launch trailer of the game. What music goes best with no other than System of a Down‘s hit single, Chop Suey, am I right?

Mortal Kombat co-creator and head of NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, took to twitter and posted a picture warning to all Rage Quitters (People who quit an online session or match early).

First Freddy and Now This Guy…

jason-vorhees-mortal-kombat-570x304Well it was only a matter of time. Jason Voorhees has finally made his way to the Mortal Kombat franchise. Confirmation came from Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios this morning and was accompanied by a preview video. The preview (shown below) was short, but gripping nonetheless.

Available as a DLC, Jason will be included in the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack which will of course be apart of the Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition by Coarse (both Limited and Platinum Editions). Don’t fret though, you can still buy the pack separately for $29.99. The pack will also have the Samaurai Pack which will give you access to special skins for Kenshi (Ronin), Shinnok (Samurai), and Kitana (Jingu).

Mortal Kombat X will be available April 14, 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

New Mortal Kombat Trailer Gives Us a Look At Some More New Players

maxresdefault (1)Well It’s not too much longer before Mortal Kombat X (MKX) drops so it’s probably about time we start seeing some more from NetherRealm and Warner Bros. concerning the content we may see. Today they released a new trailer with some pretty important things including characters and plot points.

“Taking place 25 years after the events of Mortal Kombat (2011), the new generation of characters will discover that Outworld is not the only threat they face. Fans will get a first look at the newest fighters to join Cassie Cage, including Jacqueline Briggs, daughter of Jax, Takashi Takeda, son of Kenshi, and Kung Jin, descendant of Kung Lao.”
