Located off the coast of Costa Rica, the Jurassic World luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus Rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinosaurs to run all over the place. Now, it’s up to a former military man and animal expert (Chris Pratt) to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.
Brothers Zach (Nick Robinson) and Gray (Ty Simpkins) Mitchell go to visit their aunt Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), the park’s operations manager, but all she cares about is work to care for them. Instead leaves them with her assistant, Zara (Katie McGrath) . Unfortunately, she doesn’t do much to care for them at all. Now, the neglect of children is bad, but of course the movie isn’t about that. This is about deadly dinosaurs that should never have been genetically made in the first place.
Jurassic’s World scientists decide it’s a good idea to create a new dinosaur called the Indominus Rex. Sounds deadly right? Well… you have no idea. These idiots mix the DNA of Jurassic’s most deadliest predators, T-Rex and Velociraptor. Like WHY??!! When your boss says more teeth and
scary he didn’t mean a deadly weapon that you can’t take down when it gets out of control. Don’t worry I’m not going to give away anymore, go see it because it’s that amazing.
What I really love about this movie is how they showed the original park in a scene (very small, but very cool) and the theme music, It gave me so much chills. It just make me happy that they didn’t change a lot of things and made for an all too familiar feel to the movie. Much credit to Director Colin Trevorrow. It was a huge nostalgia trip!!
This film is amazing. The only issue is that it will never beat the original Jurassic Park movie (but that doesn’t have to be all bad). Jurassic World had its own uniqueness that cannot be understated and it blew my mind! It is a must-see movie for everyone, so get out there and go see it. Oh, and remember… More teeth is more deadly!
Jurassic World gets a 5 out of 5
+ The theme music and the look at the original park was so great
+ The Indominus Rex is next level in terms of brutality (and intelligence)
+ Still has a unique and somewhat original approach that allows the movie to stand on it’s own
