Ryan Reynolds is beginning to make the promotional rounds for Deadpool and there’s no better way to kick that tour off than with the official trailer. After going through much editing in the last few weeks since it was shown during the San Diego Comic-Con panel Reynolds made his first appearance on TBS’s Conan moments ago with the trailer and now that the wait is over, here’s the first look at Fox’s Deadpool.

I’d say that’s everything fans wanted to see and it looks like the film is headed in the right direction. Get your fill of Deadpool when it hits theaters on February 12, 2016.

Deadpool Trailer Debut’s Next Tuesday

deadpool-cine3d-3

It was mentioned that a trailer for Fox’s Deadpool was shown at this past San Diego Comic-Con to an immensely positive reaction (it even garnered an encore showing). While many were hoping for an official release soon after, Fox wasn’t so quick to give it too the public. They wanted to make sure it was a proper release suitable for the fans, so a three-week wait was what we all got… and now that wait will soon be over.

On Tuesday, August 4, the first official trailer will air during TBS’s Conan. Now, this will be the more explicit red-band trailer, which will be sure to stay true to its R rating. A second trailer will be a bit more family friendly with the green-band trailer set to show with the release of Fantastic Four on August 7.

Whatever they had to clean up for the big release should be worth the wait with the reaction the first trailer received. Can’t wait for the debut, and you can catch it here as soon as it drops this upcoming Tuesday.

Deadpool Trailer in Three Weeks!!!

Many that follow the proceedings of San Diego Comic-Con this weekend are privy to the fact that it is a breeding ground for new content to be shown and for companies to give fans an exclusive look at what they’re working on for the present and future. One of the more anticipated appearances at Comic-Con this year was Fox Studios in hopes that their would be some footage to show for their upcoming Deadpool movie. Accompanied by this promo photo (shown above) was an amazing trailer that was adored by the fans there. It was met with such a positive reaction that the crew went so far as to give an encore showing to the fans after the initial premiere.

As great as the trailer may have been, Fox studios plans on making changes to the trailer before it makes an official public release. Apparently the VFX weren’t completely finished and they want to clean up some of the effects. Ryan Reynolds tweeted about the trailer and having something for the fans ready in about three weeks time. Hopefully, we can check back in a few weeks and see what was so amazing it had to be shown twice. I’m willing to bet that it’ll be worth it.

Not Gonna Lie, Pretty Good April Fools Joke

Earlier today many of us thought we had a confirmation from the studio and Ryan Reynolds (via twitter) that Deadpool got an official rating of PG-13. While on the surface it doesn’t really sound like a big issue, it has been at the core of many conversations between fans regarding the movie and how it could pull off all of the characters antics without an R rating. Most still had faith that the movie would be fine after the news hit, but that still didn’t mean that fans weren’t thinking “what if?” At least that was the sentiment until later today when an “interview” with the star of the film made its way online, but I really can’t spoil it. You’ll just have to watch the video.

Can’t say that I mind it either way, but this sure does open up some new opportunities for the film to capitalize on. Great PR move and the fans (like myself) really got a good laugh out of it.

Deadpool hacks and slashes its way to theaters on February 12, 2016.

First Official Look At Ryan Reynolds As Deadpool

Seems like there is more and more coming out for comic book movies and the studios behind them want to share almost every little thing with their fans. First it was Warner Bros and DC with a first look at Jessie Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, and today it’s Fox and Marvel’s turn with Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool.

The self-proclaimed “Merc With a Mouth”lays out in this photo in true Deadpool fashion.

Still can’t believe the film is on its way (and in less than a year no less) because of so many setbacks. The more that comes out about the film, the more real it becomes and with such a fan following, it’s sure to bring in some good numbers. Let’s just hope the movie itself doesn’t disappoint.

Get your fill of Deadpool when it hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
