Taking place after 2016’s Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn (Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’s actress, Margot Robbie) has broken up with the Joker and the Batman has disappeared from Gotham City.  A young girl by the name of Cassandra Cain (HBO’s Veep’s actress, Ella Jay Basco) meddles in affairs of the villainous Black Mask (Doctor Sleep’s actor, Ewan McGregor) having Harley and her team of Black Canary (The Great Debaters‘ actress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (All About Nina’s actress, Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Renee Montoya (The Dead Don’t Die’s actress, Rosie Perez) protecting her at all costs.

Injustice 2 Officially Announced

All it took was one poster leak for Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios (Ed Boon and the studio behind the Mortal Kombat series) to release an announcement trailer for Injustice 2.

Injustice: Gods Among Us was a fighting game first released three years ago, having players fighting against each other using the DC Roster of both heroes and villians.

What’s new for the sequel? Here’s what we know so far

  • The story mode will take place right after the events of the first game.
  • You can be Iron Man! Just kidding, however! There is a new “gear system”, having players place customizable armor pieces on their hero or villain to enhance their strength, speed, health, and agility.
  • Returning characters such as Batman, Superman, The Flash, and Aquaman return with new faces such as Supergirl, The Arkham Knight, Gorilla Grood, and Atrocitus.

Hopefully we shall see some gameplay next week at E3 2016?

Injustice 2 releases next year for Playstation 4, XBOX One, and PC.

Warner Bros. Releases First Look at Suicide Squad!

Well it wasn’t supposed to come out, but the leak from San Diego Comic-Con made it impossible for Warner Bros. to keep the teaser under wraps any longer. The first official look at David Ayer’s Suicide Squad sees three minutes of footage showcasing all the biggest characters including Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), and of course… The Joker (Jared Leto)!

While many are still a bit unfamiliar with the concept of the Suicide Squad or what it might mean for DC’s expanding cinematic universe, it looks to be a fairly original approach at showcasing villains as the focal point of an arena dominated by super heroes. Look out for this one when it hits theaters August 5, 2016.
