This past weekend was the Call of Duty XP event that took place in Los Angeles, California. What better way to start the convention by via briefing on Friday and here’s the rundown on what happened.
To start, Activision and Infinity Ward revealed the Multiplayer aspect of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The player uses combat rigs, each with their own distinctive classes, load outs, and traits along with the customizable weapons and equipment. New maps have you fighting on moons and lava filled planets and modes, such as Defender, will keep you busy.
For those who own a Playstation 4, you’re in luck. If you pre-order your game now, you will receive a beta code which starts this October on the 14th.
Not interested in Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer? Don’t worry, Infinity Ward got you covered. The team along with Raven software revealed the multiplayer for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered.
The Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare will come with the Remaster along with 16 multiplayer maps, with the first 10 coming at release and the 6 coming in December. The single player campaign will be available thirty days early as part of the deluxe and legacy editions of Infinite Warfare if you pre-order.
Last but not least is the worldwide reveal of the last map pack of Black Ops III’s Season Pass called Salvation. Four new maps (Outlaw, Citadel, Rupture, and Micro) and the climax of Treyarch’s Origins Zombie saga, Revelations will be released today first on Playstation 4 and later for XBOX One.
