Between all the news about Kingdom Hearts 3 and all the other titles on display, Square Enix took the time out to announce that it is currently developing a new studio called Tokyo RPG Factory and its first title (currently titled Project Setsuna), is set to release in 2016.
“RPG fans from all over the world have supported us along the years. To keep creating incredible new RPG titles, we started Project SETSUNA and it is developed by Tokyo RPG Factory, a newly established studio for the project,”
With their dedication to creating JRPGs like Dragon Quest, and Final Fantasy, Square Enix and Tokyo RPG Factory will be releasing its first console RPG together next year that they assure will deliver “rich stories” and “memorable characters.” Though details are scarce, the crowd was presented with three eye-popping pieces of concept art.
