This morning, fans were woken up to a delight when Rocksteady confirmed that one of the years most anticipated games in Batman: Arkham Knights would come to stores on June 23, 2015.
The news came by way of the official twitter account of the game. This makes it a three-week delay from the original June 2nd date. Doesn’t matter now as we’ve finally got our release date and fans couldn’t be happier.
As an aside, here is your first look at one of the most recent alternate skins as well as a new description from Amazon for the games main antagonist Scarecrow. The design itself is based on the animated film Batman: Gotham Knight and is only available to WB Play Members. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up here to get one.
Batman: Arkham Knight brings all-out war to Gotham City. The hit-and-run skirmishes of Batman: Arkham Asylum, which escalated into the devastating conspiracy against the inmates in Batman: Arkham City, culminates in the ultimate showdown for the future of Gotham. At the mercy of Scarecrow, the fate of the city hangs in the balance as he is joined by a huge roster of other infamous villains.
